Suffolk, Virginia Roadblocks

Occurred late evening on Saturday 9/24 through early morning Sunday 9/26. There were several officers checking vehicles simultaneously. Officers stand close to the drivers side window and try to get you to communicate in an attempt to check breath and eyes for signs of intoxication. The officers also check front and rear lights for possible violations. There apperared to be several drivers detained and I saw at least one tow truck in an adjacent parking lot. I’m not sure of the frequency of this particular roadblock but it appears to occur at least twice a year.
