Centreville, Virginia Roadblocks

Fairfax County Police Sobriety checkpoint @ 0200hrs, March 15, 2015. The officers ask first to know if you have a drivers license and request for visual inspection. Of course, at this time they are sniffing for alcohol or any other impairing substances. Some drivers were detained (Crimes unknown), while others were allowed to proceed.

Fairfax County PD setup here about 2 – 3 times a year. They’ll have a handful of officers on-site with varying vehicles (motorcycle, patrol car, van). They typically only stop vehicles with obvious violations. Last known date was June 8, 2010.

In either direction.

Looking for anything suspicious. Most vehicles stopped.
