Williston, Vermont Roadblocks

Consistently setup for Memorial Day/July 4th or similar holidays generally associated with drinking and driving. The checkpoint is in front of (and makes use of) the state police barracks near the highway. Many cars are just waved through to prevent traffic backup throughout the county (high volume route), leaving one to wonder how potential ‘offenders’ are profiled. This block is highly visible due to the amount of traffic buildup if one realizes what is happening before it’s too late.
