El Paso, Texas Roadblocks

November 6, 2012 9AM. Sheriff drivers license and insurance inspection checkpoint. I saw sign from several hundred yards away and turned around to avoid traffic jam. Sheriff deputy chased me down and a couple miles down the road to request papers. Let me go quickly after presenting papers.

Drug sniffing dogs searched my wifes car and recked through her car even though she had nothing in her car…interrogated her.

EPPD has frequently set up roadblocks at this location on Copia across from Memorial Park.

Stopped all cars issuing citations for those without insurance or driver’s license.

Blocked entrances so cars had to go through the road block.
