We were tourists visiting friends in Cashiers and Henderson NC. We encountered this roadblock on the way to Whitewater Falls NC. To get there you dip into South Carolina a tiny bit before re-entering N. Carolina again Wiginton Rd, in S. Carolina, is a short 2-3 mile long paved road connecting SC route 107 to SC Route 130 (becomes Rte 281 in N.Carolina)
