The roadblock is just south of Downtown on Main St headed toward Pekin/Creve Coeur. It is conducted just past a rise where traffic cannot see it until they are upon it. (it’s location blocks traffic coming from greater Peoria toward the local ‘Gentleman’s Club’) The block is normally conducted by East Peoria Police with State Troopers present.
