St. Augustine is a tourist town. It bills itself as the nation’s oldest city. Tourism is a very important part of its economy but you wouldn’t know it from the way that their police officers treat people at roadblocks. VERY RUDE — families beware especially if you have children with you it can be a terrible experience.
