Bad traffic heading north on Fairfax Ave. after geting off 405. Small two lane st. Two cops waving people over to park at random on side of road in middle of day Jan 12, 2013. No way to see this ahead of time, don’t know what they are checking for on a Monday. Vehicle safety, insurance, uspended license, seat belts? Drugs? Anything to raise money in this climate. Mayor Villaraigosa said he had to lay off 1/3 of city employees. Police no doubt trying to raise money to keep jobs.
