As of March 31, 2020, the following road checkpoints are in place in Graham County, North Carolina:
Intersection of Highway 129 South, Tapoco Road and Meadow Branch Road at
Tapoco North of Robbinsville
Intersection of Highway 28 South, Fontana Rd and Welch Road at Fontana
Intersection of Highway 28 North and Tsali Road near Almond, NC
Just past the Intersection of Highway 74 and Highway 129 North, Tallulah Road
at Topton
Intersection of Highway 143 Cherohala Skyway and Old Santeetlah Road near
the NC/TN State Line on the Cherohala Skyway
All checkpoints will remain in place indefinitely.
Graham County will continue to process permits on an as-needed basis for essential workers in essential functions.
