Raleigh, North Carolina Roadblocks
Gorman Street at entrance to Woodland Court complex.
A DUI roadblock around midnight on August 19, 2011. Police also routinely campout here to catch speeders on Gorman Street.
Intersection of Old Baucom and Rock Quarry Roads
The Public Servants (Wake County’s finest mafia) were performing a "license check" in order to shakedown citizens. The armed thugs stopped everyone and searched many based on fabrications. Any excuse will serve a tyrant, even the illusion of public safety. Police who violate the Constitution in this way are nothing more than roadside bandits working for a mafia state.
Intersection of Falls of Neuse & Durant Road
Not sure why this roadblock was set up.
Gorman St. exit onto I-40 East
Daytime hours, particularly Saturday & Sunday & holidays.
US 1 and Cary Pkwy (southbound)
This same roadblock was listed already , but in ’99. I encountered in Dec of 2002. Many officers at side of exit all the way up the exit ( at least 8 police/sherrif vehicle ). I went through at around 11 pm and was not stopped. I assume that their quota was met as they were camped out there , drinking coffee and watching the cars go through.
