Albuquerque, New Mexico Roadblocks

9:30 pm 9/16/16 Was informed that it was a sobriety check conducted by NM state police and immediately asked if I was drinking. A prior checkpoint was conducted in may of 2016 where the officer asked the same questions but also asked where I was coming from and where I was going (which is illegal)

Currently set up now and has been active for about an hour. All they are asking is if you’ve been drinking, or under tell influence of any drugs or alcohol. They are checking the tags on your license plate to make sure they aren’t expired as ND taking a quick look at your DL, registration, and insurance.

Two lanes blocked heading northbound right before the Starbucks. Lights set up, about 10 cop cars, mobile DWI testing lab. Started at 10 pm and lasted until after 2 am. Saw several people being taken from their car and perform field sobriety tests. Cops drove cars to lot at Starbucks while they were being checked.
