BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick, Bath and Topsham police departments and Sheriff’s Departments in Cumberland and Sagadahoc counties have scheduled a multi-agency OUI roadblock between Tuesday, Aug. 25, and Sunday, Aug. 30, according to a statement issued by the Brunswick Police Department.
The effort is part of an ongoing campaign, sponsored by the Maine Bureau of Highway Safety and National Highway Traffic Safety, to combat impaired driving.
The roadblock was originally scheduled to take place during the week of Aug. 17, but was rescheduled due to poor weather conditions.
