Mount Vernon, Kentucky Roadblocks

at 12:30 i was going down 25 and i saw flashing police lights in the distance as i got closer i saw the other traffic in front of me stopped and multiple KSP cars. as i approached i stopped and went into park, a few minutes later a officer came up to my window and asked for license, registration, and insurance. i asked him if i committed any crimes and he didn’t answer me. i gave him my license and paperwork and another officer went behind and looked at my plate and they said i’m clear. he handed me my papers and license back and told me to drive safe. beware as they do this often at night in mount vernon area especially on the weekends.

We were driving home from Florida, got off of Interstate 75 and drove through Mt. Vernon. It was 3 AM. There were 4 cop cars, 2 blocking the road and 2 on the side. We drove up, they asked for driver’s license, where we had been and where we were going. Did not ask for insurance.

Checking for anything they could find.
