Fairfield, Illinois Roadblocks

Too late to turn around by the time you round the curve coming into town heading east. Trees make it hard to spot eastbound. State Police questioned me about my activities, did a quick walk around my vehicle, then released me. If heading into town, turn north onto 45 and turn again east on 900N (Old Mt. Vernon Road) to avoid.

Have never actually gone through this one because it is, fortunately, easily spotted and avoided from a distance. Just turn north on 10th by Wagon Wheel Diner and former Wendy’s location.
