Plains clothes spotters hide on either side of road and radio ahead to where armed men force motorists off the road and money is extorted. They charge $50 a seatbelt violation despite the law stating it should not exceed $25. And threaten that bringing this to court will cost you another $80.

Plain clothes spotter hides in bushes and peeks in your car for seatbelt, radios ahead to process victims.
Gundersen Rd, right off of Schmale Rd.
They were at the Carol Stream ice skating rink. There was an officer in the middle of the road with an orange vest. If he saw that you were not wearing a seatbelt, he flagged you into the parking lot. While in the parking lot they conducted other checks if any suspicion arose such as drinking or drug use, or invalid liscence. There was one one labor day and memorial day weekend…Wear your seatbelts folks.
