Manchester, Connecticut Roadblocks

Several officers from several towns frequently man this road block funded by the federal government for DUI and seat belt checks. It is a 4 lane road in which the right lanes are open for the cue line of officers to inspect you. The left lanes are closed for a staging area of police cars, support vehicles and tow trucks.

You can avoid it if traveling East by getting on I384 or West by getting on the 384/84/291 entrance ramp. I have heard there are chase cars if they think you are avoiding the check point but I have never seen them do this.
