Nanaimo, British Columbia Roadblocks

At 10.00 AM in the morning on a week day I was riding my scooter en-route to the coffee shop (I’m retired). There is a cutout on the road on the westbound lane where the RCMP had three unmarked military looking cars staged and an officer standing in the middle of the road stopping all traffic. I was immediately asked if I had been drinking and I told the officer that I was just about to go have my first coffee of the day. He then asked what size of motor my scooter had (mine is a 150cc and requires a license plate). He then asked for my license which I produced. I also noticed that he was scrutinizing over my scooter which is fairly new with no apparent problems.

1130 sat night, lots of fake (RCMP) auxilliary cops, right at peak of hill, both lanes and turning lanes blocked, asked all the usual crap, from a non RCMP officer

Asking for valid licence.
