Southbound Griffiths Drive before 10th Ave
Alcohol screening. Happened recently Saturday night, August 11, 2012. Avoid going through Griffiths to go into New West or 10th Ave at night. You will not be able to make a turn once you go past Stride Ave. Roadblock is cleverly hidden just up the hill and is not visible from Stride.
Lougheed Hwy
A Favorite spot for road blocks on weekends is eastbound on lougheed Hwy between Bainbridge ave and Arden ave (Lake city Skytrain station) you may see the road block ahead and try to turn off on Phillips Ave, but they are waiting there too.
