5 cruiser checkpoint smack in the middle of Glen Iris neigborhood to catch people cutting through from I-65. Initial question: Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance

Alabama State Troopers set up a massive roadblock on Highway 119 near Lake Purdy and the entrance to the Greystone Legacy subdivision. There were almost a dozen police vehicles present, flashing blue lights, and a large van. Troopers said they were checking licenses and proof of insurance. They were also making people take BAC tests.

They were checking for alcohol, drugs, vehicle registration, insurance, and seat belts.

There are frequent road blocks on and around Tarrant-Huffman Road. This roads leads from Tarrant to Roebuck. Also I have seen about 6 road blocks on 9 mile road in the Roebuck area. Have also been stopped twice at a road block in Centerpoint right at the corner of Applebee’s.
