NYC Police Checkpoint (Southbound only) stopping all commercial vehicles. Started at 7AM this morning 7-Feb-2012. I always notice these checkpoints that the NYPD ask to look inside the container/cargo areas – and everyone lets them…But I can not find any laws allowing this; Can you claim 4th Amendment Civil Rights and say no????
